Virginia Frances Schwartz

VIRGINIA FRANCES SCHWARTZ is an elementary school teacher in New York City where she currently lives. A Canadian citizen, Virginia has long been fascinated by the plight of slaves who escaped north and settled in the Southern Ontario area where she was born. Virginia teaches writing to her students and is also a Writing Process Staff Developer. Her first novel, Send One Angel Down (Holiday House), is a Parents' Choice Gold Award winner. If I Just Had Two Wings is Virginia's second novel.
