#1 The first step in any training is to identify the mission you will train for. Be sure it is something you can actually accomplish. Otherwise, you will get into trouble. Your chances of failure increase exponentially.

#2 Law enforcement must put the public first, since that is their job. They must train and equip themselves toward this objective.

#3 The sheepdog mentality is that anyone who is concerned with the safety of others is a sheepdog. However, this mentality is not suitable for civilian life, as it does not take into account the legal protections that some law enforcement officers and military personnel have.

#4 It is absolutely mandatory that you clearly define your mission. Before you go any further, sit down and write down the one sentence that defines what your real mission is.
